Elise Roginiel began her musical training at the age of seven with a convent
sister. She participated in the annual Piano Student Auditions and was the
first student musician to receive the special High School Diploma in Music
in the agricultural county of Ventura, California.
Continuing her musical studies at the University of San Francisco, she
graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with an emphasis in Piano
Performance.
Ms. Roginiel has taught classical and jazz piano for over thirty years. She
is a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Phoenix
Music Teachers Association (PMTA), and the National Guild of Piano Teachers
(NGPT.)
Over the years, many students have been motivated to pursue a professional
career in the field of music. For others, their piano studies have
contributed to winning scholarships toward college in the areas of
engineering, law or other professional majors.
Her primary focus of piano studies is the students' musical enjoyment.
Equally important to many students and parents is meeting the artistic
requirements for college entrance.
At Piano Arts, Ms. Roginiel offers comprehensive courses in classical and
jazz piano. She incorporates state of the art technology to accelerate the
learning process. Students are fascinated as they watch the computer notate
while they improvise at the piano!
