Valarie Milazzo offers individual private instruction in piano or voice. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated with honors. She received 14 years of private piano instruction. During college, Valarie studied voice with Tony-award winning singer/actress Patricia Neway. She is continuing her vocal studies with Jim Bell. Valarie also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University, and has worked as an executive in the field of higher education.
Valarie accepts students of all ages and levels. Lessons are tailored to fit each individual student's aptitudes and interests. Valarie creatively adjusts her teaching style to keep students motivated and progressing. She provides a well-rounded education to students including music theory, music history, technique, practice skills, and ear training. Many performance opportunities are offered through her studio, including recitals, volunteer music outreach, festivals, and music club.
