Regulation, is for a piano, the same as sending the car into the dealer for its service checkup. Regulation saves piano parts from premature wear which can lead to expensive repair costs later on.

Most good quality pianos can be rebuilt indefinitely with regular replacement of parts that are worn out. Some of Gary's rebuilds are over 100 years old and look brand new inside.
Please note, Gary is an internal piano specialist and does not do case refinishing. He can send cases to a Selected Master Furniture Refinisher for that work, and this quote is extra.
