Hello, I'm Bobby and I teach piano, music theory, composition and songwriting lessons in Northeast Los Angeles, California. I’ve been playing for over 25 years and teach many styles and levels from my home studio.

I’m a pianist, composer, songwriter, singer, and lifetime music lover. I began playing piano at age 7 and was immediately smitten and progressed very quickly.

In 2003 I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Music in Composition as a piano principal. Before that I was winning local and regional piano competitions as well as my high school talent show every year. My senior year I performed the Rachmaninoff 2nd Piano Concerto, first movement with the Corpus Christi, Texas youth symphony. I also began playing my own compositions in high school. Throughout college I wrote for keys (of course) as well as voice and strings. I arranged and wrote new pieces for female vocalists and small ensembles and even songs for the larger show choir I was a member of for several years.

I began teaching piano and music theory at the age of 16 to my peers and to kids.

Being a musician is a tremendous feeling and my goal is help others become musicians or improve their existing skills.
