Monika Kasprzak holds a degree of Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. She receiver her Bachelor of Music from University of Toronto and her A.R.C.T. Piano Performers from the Royal Conservatory of Music at the age of 17. Besides the traditional classical route, she was blessed being exposed and involved in other genres throughout her entire teenage years. Playing in her high school award-winning Big Band Orchestras for 4 years, she became versed in light jazz. Accompanying 3 school musicals at the ages of 12, 15 and 17 lead her to develop other invaluable musical skills of ensemble playing, performing and improvising arrangements of non-classical current music and light pop songs.
A recipient of many awards including first place in Canada in Canadian Music Competition in a piano duo, she has performed professionally for over 30 years, with over 2,800 professional engagements to her credit throughout Southern Ontario in various musical genres such as solos, duos, symphony orchestra appearances,and choirs accompaniments. She has over 27 years experience teaching private/class piano and taught at Yamaha Music Canada for 17 years.
She is an Affiliate of the Royal Conservatory Music Teachers and a member of Lakeshore Arts.
Lessons main objective is preparation for Royal Conservatory of Music practical and theory examinations and local festivals but with all the other credentials, she is equipped to lead students to various musical goals or to just play for enjoyment. Lessons are very enjoyable and productive and intended to bring out the best potential in beginners to advanced students of all ages and adults. Fantastic fees.
