Clara Margaret Czegeny is a Primary/Junior Education Specialist with a B.A. in Sociology and a Combined Honours B.A. in Gerontology & Sociology from McMaster University (Hamilton) and B.Ed in the Primary, Junior and Senior Divisions from Brock University in St. Catharines. She holds an O.C.T. (Ontario College of Teachers) Ontario. As Youth Committee Chair for the Brantford Symphony Orchestra she volunteers in the capacity of promoting Music Appreciation for Young Children! Symphonic Plays such as Peter and The Wolf and Tubby the Tuba are extremely popular with the children. Only after a few short years of formal private piano lessons, she became the Accompanist and started teaching piano to a multitude of students since her early teens. She was Lead Pianist for her church for over 15 years. Youth concerts, talent competitions, television productions, weddings, church events, funerals and dedications were always on the repertoire. Clara's life long dream has been to open her own music studio and this year, Paris Academy of Music was born. She provides a unique approach to professional and private music lessons in the comfort of your your own home. Whether students are looking to pursue music instruction based on the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, or a more casual approach, the Academy is there to meet your needs. Each student is given individual attention so they may be comfortable and enjoy their progress. Students learn from experienced, qualified encouraging music teachers who assist the student in developing their skills though creative activities. Theory and Technique is masterfully woven into every lesson and the students learn and have fun. As an experienced educator, Clara has taught children of all ages, teenagers and adults helping to develop their musical skills. She loves to have fun, is great with children and very passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals in life and simply have fun during the learning process. Students of all ages are invited to come for a complimentary piano lesson prior to registration. Clara is registered with the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto, Ontario) as an Associate Teacher (RCT # 27908). Clara has spent a lifetime; learning, teaching, performing, accompanying, entertaining, arranging and recording piano music and wants to see children and adults grow and develop as a person through music lessons. With over 55 years of piano performance experience, we are proud to serve in Brant County, Ontario. Canada Because of Clara's unique ability to utilize various teaching styles and accommodate various learning styles, my rapport with students in almost instant. I have a fun-loving personality; my teaching methods are educational and play-based and I have a lot of patience with the introduction of piano to develop a love of music from the start. She believes that everyone should enjoy a life with the love of music. Her flexibility in accommodating the most demanding of students has always been met with grace and respect.
