I am an independent piano teacher with 30 years of private study. I have studied under the direction of several teachers across the country with varying levels of education and techniques from PhD's to Bachelor's in Music. I performed for High School Choirs, Graduations and Catholic Mass. I am dedicated to a career in teaching and continue to enhance my music education with private lessons. I have 14 years of experience within Government and Commercial consulting industry with a recent concentration in Learning & Development. I have designed multiple customized training courses for clients utilizing the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. I believe this model is universal for all clients regardless of industry and actively utilize this for my lesson plans along Alfred's Basic Piano Method, Bastien's Piano Method, and multiple independent methods. Lessons can be customized to include all facets of playing piano, in any genre of music (Classical, Popular, Religious/Devotional, Jazz, ect.).
I am an active member for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and Northern Virginia Music Teacher Association (NVMTA) and Fairfax Loudoun Music Fellowship (FLMF).
